You should study who the top teams are and who the underdogs are as well because you don’t have to simply bet on the winning teams all the time. Here’s a little tip for you to consider; soccer follows an 80/20 rule. This means that only 20% of the teams are doing well and the other 80% are just sort of getting through each season. You’ll need to figure out how each team is faring during the season and remember, you don’t have to be purely on winnign teams.
You can even bet on a win, or a draw. The way it works is you start by picking a team. Of course, to make it more interesting and fun, research the teams you’re interested in and go from thre. Find out if they been winning often and who their biggest competition is. Also ask yourself if their rivals are playing well or not? Look at the history of all of their games, which players are doing well, which are on the injured list, etc.
Decide how much you want to bet each game and stick to your budget. Remember to only bet what you can comfortably afford to lose and realise that most of the time you’ll probably lose money until you develop your own solid strategy to minimise this risk. There are a few bet types to think about, firstly being the match odds which pertains to picking a winner. An over/under bet refers to betting on a team for over a certain amount of goals or under that number. You can also pick total goals won, or picking the over/under odds for a combination of the teams. Most new bettors might think it’s all about betting on an exact score. Whilst you can do this too, it’s technically more risky than the other types of bets you could make.
