The 2008/09 Premier League season has now ended with Manchester United winning the title of Premier League Champions. Villa and Arsenal did well, West Brom finished last but it was an exciting championship. Hopefully the 2009/10 season will bring just as much in the way of fantastic football and outstanding players and managers.

Tottenham Hotspur are tipped as the team to watch this year with Redknapp as the manager we can expect some thrilling football and the possibilities of transfers. King and Defoe are sure to deliver some fantastic play. Van Persie of Arsenal is predicted to be a top scorer if he can maintain his fitness level. He has a supreme left foot and that is why he is Arsenal’s favoured penalty and free kick taker. One to keep an eye on during the 2009/10 season.

Another 2 players to watch out for are Everton’s 18 year old’s Rodwell and Toffee. Both players are superb and proved it when injury plagued Everton last year and they were given the opportunity to shine. If you watch the Premier League 2009/10 be sure to watch these two if you can, they are the youngest competitors and possibly the fittest. Brilliant to watch. Portsmouth have the perfect combination of Crouch and Defoe but they face an aging defence and boardroom troubles and so are not expected to do well this year.

The Premier League is set to be as usual the best, most competitive football entertainment of the year. Do not miss it, it is going to be a treat for all fans, managers and players.
